PROGRAMS AND SERVICES

Throughout our history that spans more than a century, we have expanded our services to meet the needs of our ever-changing society. What began as an orphanage, The Children's Home has now become one of Tampa Bay’s preeminent children and family organizations.

Our nationally recognized and accredited residential treatment facility cares for more than 70 children each year who have been victimized by abuse, neglect and abandonment. Recognizing the need for all children to be raised in a healthy and loving family, we also focus on finding permanent adoption and foster care families for our children, as well as the children in the greater child welfare system.

We are poised to help even more children, nearly 3,500, with verified cases of abuse through our affiliation with the community-based care initiative. And, we further impact the community by helping at-risk families obtain the support they need to avoid falling prey to the child welfare system.
