FAMILY SUPPORT and RESOURSE CENTER SPECIALIST NEW!!
Responsible for assisting the Center manager of the Town N’ Country Family Support and Resource Center with Center activities, programming, scheduling, recordkeeping, documentation, purchasing, outreach, and assist with supervising volunteers. Participates in the organization’s continuous quality improvement efforts
REQUIREMENTS: High School diploma or Equivalency, with one year experience working with families and children within the family empowerment model. Associate Degree preferred in a social service related field
COMMUNITY GIVING and EVENTS COORDINATOR NEW!!
Responsible professional work proactively targeting and increasing the engagement, contributions, and event proceeds from corporate/business, civic, professional and faith groups, and CHI auxiliaries. Promotes the needs of CHI through speaking engagements, face to face visits and targeted communications to provide opportunities for these groups to support the cash, in-kind and volunteer needs of the organization. Serves as the primary development team relationship manager for the CHI auxiliaries and the above-named target groups. Provides administrative support and guidance as needed in the planning and implementation of events by outside groups. Leads the coordination of event details for CHI-hosted events including events to which the public is invited. Participates in the organization’s Continuous Quality improvement efforts.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, non-profit management or related field from an accredited college/university. Minimum of 3 years experience in sales, fundraising, and marketing with a successful track record of developing relationships and servicing customers. Strong oral presentation and writing skills essential. Event management and special events planning experience required.
VOLUNTEER COORDINATOR (Part Time) NEW!!
Plans, implements and maintains an effective volunteer program including recruiting, screening, and coordinating volunteer placement with other CHI staff. Builds relationships with individuals, businesses and organizations interested in volunteering. May supervise volunteers on special projects. Participates in the organization’s continuous quality improvement efforts.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Public Administration, Communications or other directly related field from an accredited college or university.Two (2) years experience in recruitment, selection, coordinating placement of volunteers in a social services setting or similar work that demonstrates the ability to manage a volunteer program. Supervisory experience preferred.
CLINICAL SERVICES SUPERVISOR NEW!!
Responsible management position that coordinates treatment, counseling and clinical supervision of clinic staff as directed by the Clinical Services Director. Participates in developing and implementing clinical program guidelines for new areas of service. Participates in and provides leadership in the organization’s continuous quality improvement efforts.
REQUIREMENTS: A Master’s Degree in Social Work or related human service field from an accredited university or college with at least five years experience in providing services to persons with serious mental illness and training in evaluations and assessments, treatment planning, treatment interventions, documentation, pharmacology, abuse regulations, patient rights and special clinical circumstances such as emergencies, suicide and out-of-control behavior. License eligible-State of Florida Department of Health Division of Medical Quality Assurance.
TUTOR Part Time (Pinellas) NEW!!
This job serves as an enhancement to family support coordination. It provides academic support to families identified through individualized family support plans. This position will provide services to an assigned program of the Family Support Center. Services are provided in-home and /or in-school. Participates in organization’ continuous quality improvement efforts.
REQUIREMENTS: High school graduate or equivalent from an accredited institution with two years or more years experience in Education or Human Services related positions.
THRIFT STORE MANAGER
Plans, supervises, monitors and evaluates the daily operations of “Charlie’s Treasures”, the Children’s Home Thrift Store, including planning, supervising and monitoring employees and volunteers. Supervises the receipt of donations and processing of merchandise to ensure the items are placed in inventory in a timely manner: plans and evaluates the display of all merchandise to generate maximum financial revenues. Participates in agency’s continuous quality improvement efforts.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Retail Management preferred with two (2) years progressively responsible experience in retail sales Or Associates degree and four (4) or more years of progressively responsible experience in retail sales management with at least one (1) year at a supervisory capacity required. Bi-lingual Spanish prefered.
FAMILY SUPPORT COORDINATOR
Responsible work in delivering family support services utilizing a broad range of community services and natural support systems. Involves a broad range of training and development activities, assessment services, and consultation and requires quality documentation of services provided. Participates in organization’s continuous quality improvement efforts.
