·         Sneakers, boys and girls ages 6 thru 14.

Program Needs:

Residential Program (there are 4 cottages):

·         Area rugs (6x9 or 5x8 - 8 per cottage and 12 x 15 - 3 per cottage)

·         Kitchen supplies (pots, pans, baking dishes and sheets, utensils)

·         Dining utensils (forks, knives, spoons)

·         Solid plastic dinner plates and cereal bowls

·         Solid plastic cups (12 ounces)

·         Sturdy plastic, gallon-size juice pitchers

·         Wall posters

·         Plastic shower curtain liners (solid colors) with hooks

·         Mesh or Netted bath scrub sponges

·         Outdoor basketball goal

Kinship Care/S.E.A.R.C.H. Services:

• Food assistance to stock our food pantry with non perishables for families.
• Donations of books that we share with our program participants.
• Craft materials that could be used for holidays and children activities at support group meetings.
• Diapers, children’s clothing, school uniforms and back packs.
• Sponsorship Opportunity for our annual bus trip to Tallahassee with the caregivers in March to also supply lunch and dinner to participants.
• Sponsorship Opportunity to send a small group of caregivers to Washington DC for a National Conference in July 2009.
• Disposable cameras and photo albums for kids in Kinship and Foster care to collect memories within their current placements.
• Gas cards for Kinship families in order to participate in more group activities as well as get to vital appointments.
• Personal care/hygiene items for our welcome bags for our Kinship Families (toothbrushes, hair brushes, bath items, etc.)
• Movie passes, or small gift certificates (fast food, discount stores, etc.) to acknowledge child and family accomplishments such as student/citizen of the month, good report cards, etc.
