CONTRIBUTE ITEMS

Thanks to your generosity, over the years we have been able to provide food and other necessities for children and families in need throughout the Tampa Bay community. We could not have accomplished this task without our kind-hearted donors, and we remain grateful for your contributions.

Help sponsor the needs for our annual Summer camp in August. All 50 children living on our residential campus will get to spend one week at an amazing summer camp. Your contributions will help offset costs and create an even more memorable and therapeutic experience for these children. To help please Click Here

Gift Cards will be used to offset costs for gifts to children in our residential treament program as well as kinship and foster children in the community. Help us provide memorable "family outings", clothing, supplies, and a memorable dinner for special occasions that every child has.  To help please Click Here.

Host a Donation Drive

There are a lot of different types of items that we are in need of.  In a given year we serve 7,000 children and families in the Tampa Bay Area. An easy way for you to get involved is to host a donation drive.  Gather up your friends and co-workers and make a difference in the life of a child or family by collecting items they can use.  For more information contact Rachelle Gyurke or call (813) 864-1531.

Charlie's Treasures Thrift Store

The Children's Home is opening its first thrift store location.  We are in need of your gently used items to be sold in our Charlie's Treasures Thrift Store.  100% of the proceeds raised at our thrift store, benefit the children and families that are served by The Children's Home.  More Information

Ongoing Needs

The Children's Home has ongoing needs specifically for the children in our care and the families who receive support services.  If you would like to donate a new or gently used item specifically for this group please see our list of suggestions. You will receive a receipt for your donation, and your donation may be tax deductible (please consult IRS guidelines).

CONTRIBUTE CELL PHONES

The Children's Home has partnered with the Secure the Call Foundation to collect and redistribute used cell phones to any community member who needs a 911 phone in the event of an emergency. The Secure the Call Foundation takes the phones, inspects and cleans them, charges their batteries and then reprograms them to be used as free 911 emergency phones.

We accept all makes and models of mobile phones, even those that do not work. However, please note that we do not accept chargers or accessories. The Secure the Call Foundation uses new chargers that are donated by local businesses, and to reduce shipping charges, we will not be able to accept any used chargers or accessories.

To donate your cell phone(s), please see the donation center hours below. You will receive a receipt for your donation.
