Help Support Our Capital Campaign

Just like other children, the boys and girls served by The Children’s Home desire love, attention and a caring family. Our therapeutic and support services are vital to their success.

That’s why it is so important that we raise $4.6 million through our Capital Campaign. With your help, the children in our care can begin to find their way back to happiness…to build hope…and to discover their dreams.

In the past, children were in many ways “raised” by The Children’s Home. Today, there is a greater emphasis on shorter stays through intense focus on reunification or adoption to provide children permanent homes—our ultimate goal.

This increased turnover in our child population creates more wear and tear on the campus, which is more than 40 years old. Although it has served us well through the years, the campus requires some significant changes so that our children will continue to be surrounded by a safe and healing environment.

In addition, to continue offering our highly regarded treatment and support programs, it is vital that we provide the financial foundation to help defray our significant costs. Our aim is to supplement our endowment fund so that we may expand our services and assist even more children and families in the future.

While we have made a lot of progress, currently we have to raise more than $1 million to meet our final goal. Funds are needed to improve the cottages where the children live, in addition to enhancing our security system, campus roads and lift station. Several naming opportunities are available.
