MEMBERSHIP PROGRAM

 

Since 1977, members of the First Family of Florida program have improved the quality of life for the boys and girls of The Children’s Home, Inc.

In a real family, sometimes we are not able to be present in person but when a birthday, graduation, holiday or some other special occasion comes around we make a special effort to send a card or e-mail to remind our loved ones, especially the children in the family, that we are “with them”—offering encouragement and support to lift their spirits and let them know they are special, loved, and not alone! 

Family support and encouragement is what the children living at The Children’s Home have missed out on the most—an opportunity to count on someone safe to be there and take care of them. You can help by becoming part of a surrogate family—a First Family of Florida member.

First Family of Florida members are some of the most respected and influential residents and businesses in the Tampa Bay area community. They are people who embrace philanthropy and understand its value and purpose in our culture. First and foremost, First Family of Florida members have a heart for children who are victims of abuse, neglect, and abandonment, and desire to make a difference in their lives through their annual support.

First Family of Florida members make a commitment to give a First Family of Florida gift at one of the levels above each year in a month that is meaningful to them. This commitment is renewed annually. The annual commitment of First Family of Florida members helps to ensure sustainable income to care for the children receiving healing therapeutic treatment at our Memorial Highway campus.
